"Just go wait on the bench Cynthia"

A "baseball insider" revealed to the NY Post that A-Rod is still in love with ex-wife Cynthia and asked her to "wait for him" to him to get tired of screwing around with Madonna. Seriously.

The source said, "He has always wanted to be a superstar and he is in awe of Madonna, but Cynthia is his true love and best friend. He has been asking her to just let him get through this obsession.''

Aww, what girl wouldn't be swept off her feet after hearing a confession of love like that?

The source also claims that "Madonna is completely insensitive to [Cynthia] and possessive of him.''

There may have been something to those Madonna rumors after all. The New York Daily News has reported that Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia have officially have split.

The anonymous source said A-Rod and Cynthia have been having``problems'' for about three months.

Yesterday there were rumors that Cynthia was on a romantic getaway with Lenny Kravitz (who also share the same manager as A-Rod and Madonna) but her mother denied that rumor: ``She is not! I know that.''

20 MILLION DOLLARS??!!!

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. will reportedly receive $20 Million Dollars to fight Big Show at Wrestlemania 24 on March 30th!!

Speaking of the National Anthem, did you ever notice that old people get REALLY pissed when someone sings it and changes the melody around a little or inserts a run instead of singing it straight? Just something I noticed over the years.



Speaking of former American Idol contestants and old people, Season 5 runner-up Katherine McPhee married that creepy guy over the weekend? Does anyone care? She was dropped from her label, wasn't she? She's 23, he's 42.

DIVORCE

Michael Jordan and his wife Juanita mutually filed for divorce yesterday. They were married for 17 years and have three children. Juanita filed once before in 2002, but withdrew the petition after a month when they decided to try to work it out. No word on whether the Hanes commercials have anything to do with the separation. (yeah, sorry, I know that one was weak. Couldn't think of anything better)

SHOCKER!! Mike Tyson Arrested--UPDATED

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Mike Tyson was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine after police stopped him leaving a Scottsdale nightclub early Friday.

Sgt. Larry Hall said the heavyweight boxer was stopped after his car almost struck a sheriff's vehicle while leaving the club at about 1:45 a.m.

"He showed signs of impairment, and voluntarily submitted to field sobriety tests," said Hall, a member of the Buckeye Police Department who was working in the area as part of a holiday DUI task force.

Hall said Tyson was placed under arrest after "showing more signs of impairment" during the field sobriety tests.

Police subsequently searched Tyson and found cocaine on him and in his car.
