Hey, remember Rockstar:INXS? Think......
Ok, well, INXS have kicked winner J.D. Fortune out of the band, and apparently he's homeless now. (Is anyone else surprised that they were even still together? They had that one album, toured, and then we never heard from them again.)
Fortune, real name Jason Dean Bennison, recently told Canada's Entertainment Tonight how INXS delivered the news that he just wasn't roit for the band after all. JD said, "I was in an airport (in) Hong Kong and literally got a handshake. They said, 'Thank you very much.' I found myself really alone because I had traveled with these guys for 23 months. I don't know where I am going from sofa to sofa, from night to night. I am trying to get through my life."
JD also confessed that the firing might have been the result of his cocaine addiction, adding, "It got as bad as it needed to be for me to numb out the fact that I knew this was going to come to a screeching halt." He also says that he has been clean for two years.
Look for JD to appear on the next season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
Oscar-winner Juno writer (Yabba Dabba) Diablo Cody gave a big F-U to shoe designer Stuart Weitzman last night by NOT wearing those fugly shoes worth 1 MILLION!! dollars to the Academy Awards. She blogged about feeling used to pimp them out on her Myspace page on Friday:
Million-dollar WHAT?
Current mood: Agitee
Yesterday, my stylist took me to go try on my Oscar shoes, which were made for me by Stuart Weitzman. They were sparkly. Kind of retro. With hefty brooches to be affixed atop each narrow toebox. I was pleased, but it wasn't, like, an event.
Today, I read this. NEWS TO ME, kids. I must have somehow missed the part where my shoes cost a MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS and my "choice" of footwear would be publicized nationwide. I honestly thought they were just sparkly shoes. Mr. Weitzman did mention that the diamonds were real when I tried them on, but I'm not Nancy Rockman, Expert Gemologist. I didn't, you know, bust out my miniature spyglass and assess the potential worth of my kicks.
I swear to God, I have the most bizarre life. Truly.
This looks really attention-whorey, and for once, I didn't do it on purpose.
I'm flattered that they picked me (surprise!) to wear the Pimp Shooz, but WTF, right?
ETA: I'm actually really pissed about this, now that I think about it. They're using me to publicize their stupid shoes and NOBODY ASKED ME. I would never consent to a lame publicity stunt at a time when I already want to hide. I'm sorry if I sound like a party-pooper, but Jeebus.

"The set is supposedly closed off, but we'd be shooting a key scene and you'd hear, `Hey, it's Denzel. Hey Denzel, over here!' "I'd get, 'Hey Gladiator, not lookin' so good. Lookin' kind of old there.' " Russell Crowe on shooting his new movie, American Gangster, with Denzel Washington in Harlem.

Former James Bond Roger Moore has been given his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in an ironic coincidence, the star is located in front of 7007 Hollywood Boulevard. Moore starred in seven James Bond films and is the only Bond besides Pierce Bronsan to have his own star on the Walk of Fame.

I wonder what Sean Connery has to say about Roger Moore getting the 007 star?
"BLASHPHEMY!"
So lots of Kid Rock news lately. He has publicly accused ex-wife Pamela Anderson (who is now set to marry Rick Solomon - she's has finally met her perfect mate!) of pulling the ultimate crazy drama queen stunt: lying about a miscarriage.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Kid said:
"She's in Vancouver shooting a movie and I have Lakers seats on the floor, and I'm gonna go to the Lakers (basketball) game with my friend Jesse James. I'm like, `Baby, I got these tickets. I'll see you on the weekend there,' and that leads into her saying, `You don't care about me, blah blah blah. She finally comes up with this: `I just had a miscarriage' ... and hangs the phone up."
So Kid, not even knowing about the "pregnancy" freaked out, chartered a plane, and flew to Vancouver to see her. Then he said, "When I get there, she's partying at this restaurant, drinking champagne, jumping on the tables. I'm thinking, `That's a quick recovery from a miscarriage.'"
Pam's such a moron. She totally wasted the miscarriage trick. Every girl knows that first you lie about being pregnant to get the guy to do what you want. That way you can save the miscarriage for another time down the road for sympathy. Dumbass!

In other Kid Rock news, Kid has made a wager to 50 Cent and Kanye West (thanks a lot for resurrecting that one Kid) that his new album, titled Rock & Roll Jesus, will sell more copies in the long run than both Kanye and Fiddy's albums combined.
Kid says, "I bet, in the long run, I sell more records than both of those two put together. Because of the options that are available for getting records out nowadays, I might not be able to move 12 million records, but I do think I have a shot at having a diamond {10 million) record."
Earth to Kid Rock - it isn't 1999 anymore, you have already released Devil Without a Cause, and there's no way you are going to sell 10 million albums. That said, I hope he does outsell Kanye and Fiddy so they'll both fucking shut up.
Which brings us to the awesome part, pay attention now: Kid adds, "I'm a rapper by nature. I started out as a DJ. To me, hip-hop is the blues music of our day and age. But writing a rap song is 10 times easier than writing a melodic song that's hopefully going to be around 20 years from now. I think it's much harder to come up with melody and chord progression. There's been some great rap. I don't hear a lot of it lately."
BURN!!! OMG, how I wish I could see Kanye's face when he reads that shit. I love you Kid Rock! Too bad Joe C.'s not alive, he could totally kick Kanye's sissy ass.

New York Daily News recently ran a story about how Mariah Carey had nine assistants on hand at the recent VH1's Save the Music Foundation GALA last Thursday night in New York. Those nine assistants included, among others, a brush holder, a hot-roller carrier, a double-stick taper, a butcher, a baker, and a candle-stick maker.
In addition to the nine assistants, Mariah had eight bodyguards (entourage count: 17) who surrounded her and yelled "Get out of the way! Mariah's coming!" to not only nobodies like us, but also to the other celebrities.
As you can imagine this pissed off quite a few people. The NY Post reported that Vanessa Carlton was "overheard cackling, rolling her eyes and making nasty comments throughout Carey's acceptance speech."
And, according to Gawker.com, Mariah also got dissed upon her arrival for dinner at the Waverly Inn that night when someone yelled out "We love and support you Britney! When someone corrected that person that it wasn't Britney (bitch), the joker loudly responded, "Oh, sorry Lindsay, good luck with your demons."
That shit's almost as awesome as Mariah.SOURCE
