Paula Abdul Stalker found dead

A former American Idol contestant that was obsessed with Paula Abdul was found dead last night in a car parked near Paula's house. Police say Paula Goodspeed, 30, died of a drug overdose and have ruled the death a suicide. The car's license plate read "ABL LV."

LA police Captain James Miller said
"Ms. Goodspeed's mother had gone to [the sheriff's department] to report her daughter missing, and advised them that she might be suicidal. The sheriffs determined that Ms. Goodspeed may be up in the vicinity by Paula Abdul's house. Our officers discovered her vehicle parked on the street, and found her inside. She was unresponsive to officers."

Paula Abdul was not at home when Paula was found. She released the following statement:
"I am deeply shocked and saddened at what transpired yesterday. My heart and prayers go out to her family."

Here is Paula's audition from Season 5:

Paula's not forever MTV's girl

MTV has dissed it's former darling Paula Abdul big time, choosing not to air her new music video for the song, “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.” Those cold-hearted snakes!! (sorry!)

A spokesman for MTV told OK! magazine, “There are currently no plans to play the video.”

The spokesman then added,
"There are currently no plans to play any videos."

In more gay American Idol news...

For no apparent reason, Paula Abdul has spoken out about gay rumors surrounding Simon Cowell.

She told Britain's Star magazine,
"People say that all the time but no, he's not! His brother always jokes and says that he's gay but Simon has fun with it now. He's very comfortable in his skin."

I don't know what to do with this and frankly I'm bored with the whole thing so insert your own joke about A) Simon and Seacrest, B) Paula is drunk, C) Paula is high, D) Paula's video, E) Hey Paula!, F) skin, G) being comfortable, H) Clay Aiken

Paula's Video!

In case you missed the premiere of Paula Abdul's new video "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" last night on American Idol, here it is.

It's actually not terrible. It's no "Opposites Attract", but it's definitely better than "Promise of a New Day".

Randy Jackson looks really cheesy playing bass (yes, I KNOW he played in Journey)and the end shot of the cardboard cutouts of Simon, Randy, and Ryan is even sillier. I'm surprised there weren't any product placed Coke cups! They probably didn't trust Paula with them.

All in all though, it's a flashback to the Paula that we grew up with, except the voice is a bit more computerized this time.

Forever Our Drunk-Ass Girl

Since the premiere of this season's American Idol, something didn't seem right.

I noticed that Paula didn't seem like herself. She'd been speaking clearly, making sense, and giving pretty good critiques and advice. Almost...sober.

But everyone can calm down now because drunk crazy Paula is BACK! I repeat: the Abdul-Alert has been raised to "TOUCHDOWN!"

Get well Pauler

Paula Abdul's chihuahua Tulip has had enough of Paula's sanity and lucidity this season on American Idol and decided to salvage the finale by causing Paula to trip and fall, resulting in a broken nose and (hopefully) lots and lots of painkillers.

Her rep told PEOPLE, "She went to the doctor and she did break her nose, but she's moving on and doing great. She looks terrific. If you didn't know she broke her nose, you'd never guess anything happened to her."

Oh stop, I'm just kidding (mostly) Get well Paula! And take twice the recommended dose.

Paula's a straight-up diva!

Paula Abdul tried to pull the ol' "Do you know who I am?" shit when she tried to board a Southwest flight from San Jose to Burbank recently. For those of you that don't know (including you Paula), Southwest has an open-seating policy. You buy a ticket and wait in line and it's first come, first serve. ( with the exception of young children, disabled people, and the elderly) That's why flights are $9.99.

But Paula didn't think that applied to her.

An "eyewitness" described the incident to Star, “She asked to be let on the plane and seated first."

Paula even reportedly said, “But I’m famous! I need to go on first!”

Then the most awesome thing happened. A fellow passenger yelled “You’re no Sanjaya! You have to board like everyone else.” You rule, Southwest Passenger!

The diva antics didn't end there though. When she finally was allowed to board, Paula pushed her way to the front and then tried to save the empty seat next to her--for her stuff. The flight attendant finally made her give it up.

Oh Paula, did you forget your pills? Remember when you were a young humble girl that just wanted to have a party ? Where is that girl?

Simon, Randy, and Courtney?

Courtney Love recently revealed to her Usmagazine.com ' that Idol's executive producer Nigel Lythgoe called her office last week inquiring into whether she would be interested in sitting in as a judge on the hit FOX show.

"He called," Love tells Usmagazine.com. "He was wondering if I was interested. I thought it was kind of weird but brilliant." '

Courtney was hush-hush about any further details.

Supposedly one of those pesky "sources" scooped to Usmagazine.com that Lythgoe was considering hiring Love to "replace Paula."

American Idol reps could not immediately be reached for comment.

So what, Paula isn't crazy enough? They want an actual murderer? Someone with even less vocal talent (she is a great songwriter though)? My guess is someone prankcalled Courtney. I can imagine it wouldn't be hard to do.

Paula and Simon - They got that vibeology

In an article in the New York Post, Paula Abdul says Simon had her back during the whole Corey Clark scandal two years ago: "I have to be honest about Simon," Abdul said. "There's the times when he's like a big brother - or a lover. He was extremely distraught and protective and supportive of me when that happened." She also says of his temper, "There are days when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed . . . or something that's happening in England. When that happens, he's got his cigarettes, his phone and that's it. He doesn't know how to turn it off sometimes and focus on our show. Simon's moody." (Um, he doesn't know how to focus on the show? She could barely focus herself with the double-vision!)

Paula says she can't ever imagine leaving Idol. "If people don't mind seeing me with a full head of gray hair. But by then I don't know if I'll have so many nervous twitches that my body will get in the way of watching the talent." (By then?)

Duh, everybody already knows he puts the hurt on her penis. And Seacrest's.

6 more days!!!

Meanwhile Simon has also made news with a quote of his own. In the February issue of Playboy he says "Do I prefer Kelly Clarkson's music to Bob Dylan's? Yes. I've never bought a Dylan record. A singing poet? It just bores me to tears. I've got to tell you, if I had 10 Dylans in the final of 'American Idol,' we would not be getting 30 million viewers a week. I don't believe the Bob Dylans of this world would make 'American Idol' a better show." (the sad part is, he's actually kinda right)

I guess this means there won't a be Bob Dylan themed night this season.
